Since 2000, the Wismar City Library has been housed in the listed Zeughaus, a jewel of Swedish military architecture from the Baroque period around 1700, which today also invites you to linger in the reading café. In addition to around 80,000 physical media, there is also a technology library, a seed library, a library of things and an e-piano to try out. Around 90,000 media are available online via the Onleihe Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Numerous events of all kinds and services such as the Media on Wheels delivery service complete the offer.
