Kirchditmold Library recommends

Committed residents of Kirchditmold run the popular library themselves – and are extremely successful!

The Kirchditmold library was actually supposed to be closed more than ten years ago. Committed residents of Kirchditmold prevented this from happening: since 2014, they have been running the institution on their own and have been extremely successful! The library now has more than 13,000 books, audiobooks, e-books, DVDs and games in its collection. The large selection of children's and young adult literature attracts many families. In addition, the much larger digital collection of the Onleihe can be accessed. In addition to lending books, the library has become a popular meeting place in Kirchditmold, where readings for children, concerts, film evenings and much more are regularly offered.
