School and everyday school life have many sides, both good and bad. Most films (quite rightly) take the viewpoint of children and young people when they depict their growing up and the worries and conflicts that go with it. However, many films also tell the story from the point of view of adults, teachers, educators and parents. Here, too, the range of themes and roles is wide. Often the films also overlap with those about children at school (e.g. in "Klasse Deutsch") - or a teacher is a sympathetically funny figure for whom children need to have respect but not fear (e.g. "Hilfe, unser Lehrer ist ein Frosch").
