Wallander

Wallander investigates the disappearance of an elderly woman who is later found dead. At the same time, Anna, a friend of his daughter Linda, reappears – and then vanishes again. The trail leads to a religious cult involved in ritualized suicide and fanaticism. This episode is particularly dark and portrays Wallander as a detective confronted with familial estrangement and extreme worldviews.
