Das kleine Gespenst

Animation/Book adaptation, Germany 1992

The little ghost lives in the small town of Eulenberg. He is awakened at midnight by the town hall clock and is only allowed to haunt then. At night, he makes knight's armor dance at Eulenstein Castle, annoys drunkards or tells his friend the eagle owl the true story about the legendary general Thorsten Thorstensen. The little ghost was the unrecognized savior who put him to flight during the 30-year war and thus freed the town from the Swedes. Curious, the ghost wonders what the world might look like during the day. It wishes nothing more ardently than to get to know this other side itself once. Due to a sudden clock defect, this wish comes true faster than the little ghost had ever dreamed of... One of the most beautiful and popular children's books "The Little Ghost" as a charming animated film. By Curt Linda after the children's book of the same name by Otfried Preußler .
