The Story of the Weeping Camel

Nature/Environment, Germany/Mongolia 2003

Not available in your country
In the Gobi Desert, deep in Mongolia, a camel gives birth to a cub. But the weakened mother abandons her cub, which nevertheless has no chance of survival without the nutritious mother's milk. In order to save the little camel, the nomads remember an old, mystical custom: with his poetic music, a violin player is supposed to move the camel mother to tears and thus soften her heart.
