A Pirate's Heart

Klaus Störtebeker (Ken Duken) is the Robin Hood of the seas. A fighter against injustice and oppression. But he is not only a hero on the high seas, he is also – like every upright pirate – a hero to women. However, his heart (English title: “A Pirate's Heart”) beats only for his childhood sweetheart, the merchant's daughter Elisabeth (Claire Keim). But she is promised to his arch-enemy Simon von Wallenrod (Stephan Luca)... As a young boy, Klaus Störtebeker (Ken Duken) witnessed the murder of his parents. As an adult, the traumatized young man embarks on a career as a pirate and seeks revenge. Especially since his brother Jon is innocently suspected of killing the father of Klaus' rival as well as the father of his great love.
