Business must also be fair! That's what the three personalities in this film thought and began to reorient themselves. Sina Trinkwalder, formerly head of a marketing agency, now produces zero-waste clothing with employees who would hardly have a chance on the labour market. Textile engineer Patrick Hohmann manages two large-scale projects in India and Tanzania for the production of organic cotton, which he supervises and supports directly on site. And former teacher Claudia Zimmermann now runs an organic farm with an attached village shop in Switzerland and is committed to fighting food waste. The three entrepreneurs are at very different stages in their lives and careers. But one thing unites them: the daily effort to combine fair working conditions and sustainable production with the cost pressure of the free market economy and to show that it is possible to shape success and profitability ethically and fairly. In the inspiring film FAIR TRADERS, the renowned director Nino Jacusso shows the philosophy and work of these three actors of the free market and makes them emotionally tangible - committed cinema with strong images that encourages us to actively participate in the fair shaping of our future.
