The Queen of Spain

Spanish actress Macarena Granada, who has made a career in Hollywood, returns to her homeland in the mid-1950s, which she has not set foot in since fleeing during the Civil War. She is now to play Queen Isabella I of Castile in an American blockbuster. During the filming, Macarena not only meets many former companions again, but also has to survive an encounter with Franco, the dictator she despises, who wants to inspect the filming. When one of her closest friends is deported to a labour camp, she uses all her acting skills to save him. Together with her friends and a group of resistance fighters, a crazy rescue operation begins.
