Things to Come

Nathalie is a philosophy teacher at a Parisian lyceum, married and the mother of two children. She has a busy life in which her family, her demanding mother and a talented former student vie for her attention. Then her husband tells her he is leaving her for another woman and shortly thereafter her mother dies. In the period of mourning that follows, Nathalie manages to reshape her life.
