filmfriend presents Contemporary Ukrainian Animation

On the occasion of the 6th Festival of Animation Berlin 2022, filmfriend screened nine Ukrainian animated films for the "Country Focus Ukraine", which will continue to be available exclusively after the end of the festival. The program was curated by Anastasiya Verlinska, the festival director of the LINOLEUM International Contemporary Animation and Media Art Festival. Topical, funny, playful, cheeky, sometimes sad, sometimes hopeful: the programme gathers different genres, introduces different characters and explores a variety of themes, always answering or addressing essential questions with the most comprehensive language - animation. So that the whole world can hear Ukraine.
