What happens if you are forcibly expelled from your home country? How does one live on, and what stories are there to tell? The Kurdish Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi presents seven short films by children and young people who have found shelter from war and violence in the refugee camps in northern Syria and Iraq. They capture the new everyday life in the tent cities from their perspective, tell of physical and psychological wounds as well as survival strategies and their dreams and hopes.
