The country is characterized by the rivers Danube, Tisza and the Puszta. The vast grass steppe is a paradise for wild geese and cranes. Fishermen set their traps in the riparian forests hoping for a rich catch. Filmmaker Zoltán Török takes a loving look at his homeland. He accompanies shepherds herding gray cattle, shows sea eagles rearing their young and follows otters hunting. In midsummer, the courtship of the mayflies is a special spectacle.
